Hi Kathy,
I’m the Vice President of Student Enrichment club in Seattle Central Community College. Our club’s mission is to provide community services for people in need and voluntary activities for the students. Would you like us to help you with anything?
Unfortunately, we can only do it on the weekend and once in a while.
Please consider.
Thanks for your time!

Hi Nghi,
Thank you for contacting VFA! While we are always looking for volunteers, unfortunately most of our opportunities are during the weekdays. The only program we have on Saturdays is the Supplemental Education Services (SES) headed by James. You can contact him directly at his email: James.lovell at vfaseattle.org. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Thank you!

Hi Kathy,
I am intereted in showing our supporting to the VFA. My family and I was once consider to be Vietnamese refugee ourself (1979). Currently, I own a company call Interpret This Inc., located in Bellevue. What we are is a language service provider agency, we’re an interpreting sevice, specializing in the Vietnamese language and the unspoken language of the ASL for the Deaf and HOH community. We’re looking to expanding our Translation division, and from the sound of it, your Care Program may be in need of our volunteer services to translate the English docs to the Vietnamese language.
So if that works for you guys, please let us know what we would need to do next to show VFA our support.

I use to be a special ed and substitute teacher in Los Angeles California. I’m moving North, and hoping to volunteer at the Center as I think I can help out with the youths.

Hi, I am Thao and I am a student of Seattle Central Community College. I am very interested in doing volunteer as a tutor or an assistant for VFA. I used to work as a teaching assistant as an English training center in Vietnam and as an interpreter. I look at your “opening” and I see a vacancy for the EASE after school program coordinator. I am wondering if a student with F1 visa can apply for this position? Otherwise I would be happy to do volunteer as a tutor or an assistant in your organization. Please send me some more information and how to apply to do volunteer. Thanks a lot.
